The JOBU tagging rings:
lets you see what you’re doing!

JOBU tagging rings are used to tag the crosses being made for seed production; a tagging ring of a different colour is used for each crossing period.

Coloured clip rings

Sizes: S, M, L

Squeeze the ring open, and encircle the flower stem with the ring. With the right use of the tagging rings and an accurate recording system, the colour-coded tagging rings can be used to time the harvesting of the mature seeds/seed pods produced from a cross made during the same crossing period.

Used for:

  • vegetable seed production: For the seed production of tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, etc.
  • producing bedding plant seeds: For tagging castrated flowers

Standard colours: red, white, blue, orange, purple, pink, yellow
